What to bring to a LAN Party:

  1. Money to donate to S.V.A.G.A. ongoing expenses.  See event details for recommended donations.
  2. Money for PIZZA or a packed supper.
  3. If bringing your computer, the following equipment:

    (Recommended)

    • Computer (including network card)
    • Monitor (19" or less preferred) .  If not bringing a monitor, please let Randall know so he can make sure one is available.
    • Keyboard
    • Mouse
    • Power Cables (if specialized, normal power cables are provided)
    • Game CD's
    • Mousepad
    • Headphones (No speakers allowed)
    • Anti-Virus Software Pre-installed (and system scanned clean)
    • Food and Beverage(s) (No alcohol allowed)

    (Optional)

    • Comfy Computer Desk Chair
    • Blank CD's
    • Be sure to unshare anything that you do NOT want to be public information (financial info, questionable material, personal documents)
  4. Have your computer TCP/IP settings set to DHCP - we will have a DHCP server running for easy setup.
  5. Have your computer in good working condition. We are not a pc support service (at least not during the LAN Party).  If you want us to verify the system ahead of time, please give us 1 week prior to the event.
  6. Please have as many updates/patches for the games you expect to play, installed before arriving! We frown upon having to help you install games, patches, etc. That is why we include patch information on our website!
  7. A GOOD ATTITUDE!
